BL841 - The Romanesque Route

Starting from Blodelsheim, this circuit will take you through Hart Forest, the 2nd largest forest in Alsace, along trails shaded by the trees. You arrive at Ottmarsheim where you can visit the famous Romanesque St. Pierre and Paul’s Abbey with its octagonal design. You will continue along country roads linking up the small villages along the Rhine and don’t forget to stop off at Bantzenheim to visit the rare collections in the Rhineland Motorbike Museum. This countryside itinerary offers a fine mix of pleasant sites on the forest’s edge and along the Rhine and the canal.
